GRAND DADDY is a new generation forage tetraploid perennial ryegrass developed for use in highly productive pastures and hay fields. Perennial ryegrass is the highest quality cool season forage grass available .In addition to being a naturally high quality grass, GRAND DADDY has been selected for resistance to many leaf diseases that can reduce forage quality, palatability and animal intake. These include rusts, leaf spots, leaf blights, mildews and brown patch. GRAND DADDY perennial ryegrass is also free of the fungal endophytic organism that can cause animal stress, staggers and reduced animal performance. GRAND DADDY is an excellent component of pasture mixes and combines well with alfalfa or clover in mixed hay. GRAND DADDY can also be over seeded to extend the life of thinning alfalfa pastures and hay fields.
