Otto Luyken Laurel
My Otto Luyken Laurel leaves are full of tiny holes and it is now attacking the four others I have. What is eating them?
Shot Hole fungus. These tiny holes first appear as circular red or yellow spots. The leaf tissue in these red and yellow areas dies and falls out of the plant, leaving your plant with a shot hole appearance. This fungus is caused from an overhead irrigation system commonly used within a nursery. In the landscape it develops from rainy springs and lack of air circulation. Pick up and discard of any fallen leaves, they harbor the fungus spores. Spray the plants with a fungicide.
