Growing Plants & Grass Under Trees
I have a lot of Gum trees in my yard and I can not get anything to grow around them. They seem to pull everything in for just them and nothing else will survive. Is there anything I can do to make flowers and grass grow around them?
Landscaping around trees can be a challenge, but not an impossible one. Growing grass under trees where there is less than 2 hours of sunlight, I would consider being a futile effort. Rather select plants that will tolerate dry shade.
